Mekeni Bar & Grill Restaurant was founded by Merle Rivera and Yong Dawsey. It was an expansion of M.Y. Chockdee Oriental Market that is located just minutes away and is still in business to this day. Merle and Yong take great pride in serving the very best Filipino food in the greater San Antonio area. Mekeni Bar & Grill Restaurant is the only Filipino Buffet in San Antonio.
